The story:“After humans nearly ruined their world through their long history of environmentally detrimental habits, robots took control of the endangered planet and placed surviving humans - their very creators - in captivity - but only after a futile war between the humans and the machines. One of the Captives, a woman who calls herself "Bolt," challenged her captors to a race, the results of which may determine humankind's future as she soon discovers. The fateful race is called F1 in the tradition of the popular race of days long past; "F," however, no longer stands for Formula but rather for Freedom. Will Bolt succeed in freeing her fellow captives? The machines are determined to deter her at all costs.”
